Things To Get Us Through #253 days Til Lost Lands
It is exactly 253 days until Lost Lands. I know, we’re counting. But to get through these days, Excision has been kind enough to release his live sets. Amongst artists who performed at Lost Lands, each set will be released throughout the new year until Lost Lands. Now, let’s take a look back at some of the live streams that are up right now. One of my personal favorites was Excision’s Detox Set on day 3.
Excision’s Detox Set
Alongside with other performances at Lost Lands, I really enjoyed Excision’s Detox Set the most, even though it was from my couch!
Excision’s Detox Set was early and threw in older EDM tunes you might remember. He gave the OG’s props in his set. He was able to bring back throwback tunes especially Sandstorm by Darude. You got to see a chiller side of Excision. From a mix of hip-hop, reggae, to his old music, the set brought zen and excitement to kick off the day.
Excision’s Detox set was one of the major highlights of the weekend as many people were waiting for the release of the Detox set.
Another notable element of this set is that he incorporated melodic dubstep as well. The set is very dense and has many layers of texture with the production and the choices of songs throughout. Check it out below!
Other Live Sets Available To Listen To From Lost Lands
Excision Day 1 Set @ The PreHistoric Paradox
Excision released Day 1 of his performance to kick off the releases of the live streams. His opening stayed true to the theme of Lost Lands which is dinosaurs and more dinosaurs. With the Jurassic theme song incorporated into the beginning of his set, Jeff Abel transitioned it to a mashup of all of his hits. From X-UP, Headbanga, Throwing Elbows, it was an amazing close to #Day 1. If you haven’t seen it, I don’t want to ruin it. Check it out below!
Dion Timmer Day 3 Set @ The PreHistoric Paradox
Excisions protegee Dion Timmer headlined Lost Lands alongside with Excision and killed his performance dropping various new tracks. the youngest of all the headliners, Dion killed it and it’s amazing how his set was the second to be released from the live stream archives.
It’s epic to have the Lost Lands sets releases since some weren’t able to attend and was a part of the #CouchLands fam. It gets us worked up for the sets that will be released in the future! For more updates on future sets to be released, check it out here.
