The Ninja Tour has just kicked off and on top of that, Datsik released his new EP. The Master Of Shadows EP is composed of seven tracks with collaborations with Dion Timmer, Excision, JPhelpz, Ganja White Night, Virtual Riot and T Rabb. Review: Master of Shadows EP
Canadian producer and DJ Datsik kill it again. With another dubstep masterpiece and his loyal fanbase, Datsik’s EP hit #1 on the EDM Album charts on Itunes. His theme of Ninja has been something that he’s developed, which is a staple in his brand.
Datsik is one of the most influential dubstep in the game alongside with Excision, Downlink, Dion Timmer and many more. Most reviews on the EP are mostly good reviews. Although some fans were a bit disappointed, I can’t see why. The power and overall production make the EP what it is.
To kick off the EP, the song Pressure Plates is a strong way to start off the EP. With a melodic touch, the song is the only song alongside of You’ve Changed, are the only songs with Datsik by himself. You’ve Changed reminds me of Nasty.
I don’t want to give a lot away since the EP is personally one of my favorites. The EP is one to check out if you’re a new fan or an OG fan of Datsik. My personal favorites on the EP are Pressure Plates, Warriors of the Night and, Find Me with Excision and Dion Timmer. Find me is the last song on the EP, which is a strong closer to the EP. It sounds like a perfect mix of Harambe and Africa.
All I have to say is Bow Down to the Sensai.
