GTA – Good Times Ahead [Album Review]

As I listened through the love anthem I found that I could vibe with that aspect of it but yet it had a couple bangers on it as well. To compare and contrast the versatility I’d advise listening to “Feel It” featuring What So Not & Tunji Ige and “Contract” featuring Iamsu! GTA throws down and really gives that “I don’t give a fuck” vibe with its smooth tempos and trap/rapper compilations. By capitalizing on the feeling of falling in love it was relatable. Love is something that drives humanity and everyone can assimilate to. GTA perfected capturing it with such a smooth yet emotional landscape of a sound that everybody needs to hear! “Good Times Ahead” is highly recommended if you want to slow dance the night away. So I say get lost with somebody and give this album a listen!
Personally, I’d attest that GTA’s outro song, “Illuminate” has got to be my favorite song of the album. As I sit here, drinking my Jack and Coke it really is setting the mood for my Friday night. It’s given me this sense of Carpe Diem. Trust me if you have the same taste as me in drinks you’ll understand that I can only enjoy it if it’s smooth just like the ending of “Good Times Ahead”.
