All Hail Rezz
Rezz? What do we think of when we hear her name? Do we think of her iconic glasses? Or do we think of her music? All I can say is “All hail, Rezz”.
A Little More About Rezz
She is the queen of eccentricity and puts herself in her own category. At only 20, she’s building herself up and she’s not stopping anytime soon. She has all of our attention.
Rezz has been in all of our newsfeeds. From her new releases and playing festivals such as Ultra, EDC Las Vegas, and Electric Forrest, she’s killing it. Along with other female DJs such as Alison Wonderland, Mija, Anna Lunoe and Nicole Moudaber, (Talk about #GirlPower) she is one to check out if you haven’t already.
Signed with Mau5trap, she is a self-taught producer. From her Reddit AMA a few months ago, Rezz taught herself Ableton through various YouTube tutorials. She touched on topics such as future collaborations, her stance of sobriety and her inspiration.
She isn’t categorized under any genre. Flawlessly, she experiments with all types of sound. All of her music is engineered, produced and mixed down all on her own. She doesn’t rely on the music of other artists for her music to shine. Her music alone is seamlessly different and effortlessly successful.
Rezz New Single Relax
It’s truly something different. With 70% dialogue and 30% mix, Relax is hypnotic. As if we were going under hypnosis.
Also, the balance between dialogue and music composition is symmetrical with the darker sound. Her new song Relax will get you lost in the realm of her muse.
