Cause We’re Living In A PAZ World…
You may know him from Twitter or you may have been lucky enough to see him perform. Either or, the glow up is real. PAZ, our favorite superhero. From throwing tacos at his shows to playing music HE wants to play, he is someone you should check out. My experience was Decadence Arizona.
Artist To Check Out: PAZ

You gotta give it to him. He’s pretty talented. From his 2015 song Range Rover and his remix of The Drop, originally by Gammer (which the kids say “this beat slaps”). It’s just not his music that draws us to him, it’s his humor, personality and how he encourages fans and upcoming artists to be themselves.

PAZ started my night the last day of Decadence Arizona. Being tipped off by a tweet earlier that day. He gave us these hints:

This was the first time I have ever seen PAZ. It was long overdue because once we got to his set, all hell broke loose. From dropping Fireflies and Metro Station, I was completely content with where this night was going. He’s a DJ that is unapologetically himself and that’s what I respect about him. Some people get so swept up with following the wave or the latest fad, but not this guy.
Fireflies and Spongebob…
With that being said, when everyone sang Fireflies, it sent chills up my spine. It felt like time stopped for a couple of minutes. It was a surreal moment in time where the only thing that mattered was being in the moment. He had a moment where he spoke to the crowd and was telling us about his experience in the industry and how he dealt with haters.
At the end of the day, he opened up and told us he plays the music HE wants to play to make his fans happy. You don’t see that a lot with DJs. I respect him for that because being in the industry, you can lose yourself. I don’t see PAZ doing that anytime soon. The cherry on top was when he finished his set with the SpongeBob Square Pants theme song. (10/10 for me because Spongebob is lit.)
I was fortunate enough to be in that moment and seeing PAZ for the first time was something truly different. It made me forget about the cold weather and the Brads and Chads. So, if this story doesn’t make you want to check out Paz Dylan, then stay wack.
Check out his new single Wildside below, which will break your neck.
