In My Last Life…
Andrew Bayer is the definition of artistic expression. Being able to create a soul catching album, In My Last Life is a beautiful tale of love, loss, and revival. It becomes more sentimental with every listen. It’s truly immaculate luckily, EDM Daycare was able to experience it when Andrew Bayer performed Schimanski, BK. Andrew Bayer at Schimanski Performance Was Emotionally Transcending and something that everyone should experience.
Andrew Bayer & His Schimanski Performance
Before the show, I had #ABGT300 on repeat. Andrew Bayer performing alongside Above & Beyond in Hong Kong for that was a truly beautiful experience. Sad that I couldn’t be there, but being around people who were at ABGT#300 was a vibe of its own. The Anjunafam is a group of individuals that make me feel like I belong. Being around their prescence was the realist thing I’ve felt in a long time.Just as one happy family, even at my lowest, I felt like I had family all around me.
If you’ve never been to Schimanski, you should go at least once. It’s an intimate venue. Schimanski has two rooms, each room playing different music. But, the main room is normally where all the EDM events are held. Being able to go from room to room was something that I enjoyed. With a decent sized VIP, a great dance floor and amazing Anjunafam, the night was destined for something wonderful.

Andrew Bayer at Schimanski Performance
Andrew Bayer comes on and I am ecstatic. Knowing each word to his songs off of In My Last Life was truly a transcending experience. The album is a composition for the broken-hearted, the mislead and the lost. The more you listen to how much Andrew Bayer poured his heart into this album, the more enjoyable every time you listen to it. Song after song, it was truly moving.
Andrew Bayer’s Superhuman and Sign of The Fall, which are my favorite songs by him. It was an amazing experiencing that with my friends. From his new album, he performed Your Eyes, Immortal Lover, Open End Resource. I was hoping he would have played Love You More since that song reminds me of 80’s funk.
His performance was a 10/10. It was my second time seeing him. Andrew Bayer at Schimanski was the perfect venue for him to perform. It was intimate and it felt like you were vibing with him. The last time I saw him perform was Electric Zoo this year. If you haven’t seen him on his tour, you must! He will tap into your emotions and you will need to cry for sure. When you feel as if life is closing in on you, this album helps you pick yourself up and gives you the confidence you need to press on, at least it did for me.
There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t listen to Andrew Bayer. That’s something that will be with me even on my worst days. Choosing to see Andrew Bayer Halloween weekend is what’s getting me through my master’s program. I’m just counting down the days that I can experience his work again. Until then, I will be listening to In My Last Life on repeat.
